Free donut at Tim Hortons for National Doughnut Day
On June 6, National Doughnut Day, Tim Hortons is offering a free donut with any purchase to guests who say "Happy National Donut Day". On first Friday of June, National Donut Day is celebrated throughout the country. The yearly event originated in 1938 as a Wonderful Depression charity event by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor the women who had offered donuts to soldiers during World War I.
