Lantus Free Samples

Lantus (insulin glargine) is a man-made form of a hormone that is produced in the body. It works by lowering levels of glucose (sugar) in the blood. It is a long-acting form of insulin that is slightly different from other forms of insulin that are not man-made. Lantus is used to treat type 1 or type 2 diabetes. The medication is administered in injection form, either with the Lantus SoloSTAR Pen or a vial and syringe. Patients have the opportunity to try out the Lantus SoloSTAR Pen through free samples, which are available through their doctors. In addition to free samples savings are also available in the form of discount cards and patient assistance programs. See PharmacyDrugGuide for more information.
